Tawas Knights of Columbus - The Comedy Series is coming to Tawas Knights of Columbus on Saturday, Jan. 27th. Doors open at 5:30pm, buffet dinner starts at 6:00pm, with the show starting at 7:30pm, cash bar available. Portion of the proceeds go to the Iosco Humane Society. Perchville USA - 66th Annual Perchville USA, will be held Thursday, Feb. 1st thru Sunday, Feb. 4th. Outdoor Expo - Forward Conference Center in West Branch is hosting Mike Avery's Outdoor Expo, Saturday, Feb. 3rd from 11am to 5pm. Farm To Fork Alcona - Alcona Regional Small Farm Conference will host Farm To Fork Alcona, Feb. 10th, from 8am to 9pm., at Lost Lake Woods Club in Lincoln. Keynote speaker will be Kristine Ranger, she is a lifelong educator on agricultural topics, a Michigan Farmers Union board member, and an Alcona County native. She will speak at 9am, after a welcome breakfast created from local ingredients. There will also be speakers from various agricultural businesses. Snow Box Derby - The 27th annual Snow Box Derby will be held at the Sled Hill in Old Orchard Park, Sunday, Feb. 11th. The theme this year is Americana, so think Red, White, and Blue, Stars and Stripes, and all things Patriotic! Gates open at 10am, and entries must be present by 11:30am to be judged in creativity and theme categories. Speed races to begin at 12 noon. Rising Legends Entertainment - Paul Bunyan Comedy Fest is coming to the Hilltop Bar & Grille, 421 W Mill St., Oscoda on April 5th thru April 7th. The show will feature 30 comedians from across the US and Canada. Shows are Thursday 8pm, Friday 7pm and 9pm. Saturday 4pm (clean show), 7pm (general show), and 9pm (blue show).
